Celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi

It’s Ganesh Chaturthi today – a Hindu festival marking the birth of the elephant-headed deity Ganesh, the God of prosperity and wisdom. The festival is mainly celebrated in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Uttar Pradesh. It is believed that worshipping Lord Ganesh brings happiness, peace, and prosperity in life. In ‘Sanatan Dharm’, Lord Ganesh is worshipped before the start of any good work. Hence, Ganesh Chaturthi too has a special significance.
