We wish you a merry Christmas!

Today we observe Christmas with an image of these bright and colourful paper stars from Kerala. Such stars have traditionally been associated with the birth of Christ, as the Christmas story tells us of a new star that pointed to the place of the holy birth. Christian homes all over the country usually keep the bulb-lit stars outside their front doors, or in their balconies until new year. Today, these stars can be seen in shop windows as well, as they join in the festive spirit with various discounts and sales.
