Rock the boat
Set sail through time at the Conwy River Festival! This event was first held in 1993 on the Conwy quayside beneath Conwy Castle, capturing the essence of Welsh seafaring heritage. Boating enthusiasts indulge in a friendly contest on Quay Day, a free open-air event, racing traditional and modern crafts. People gather to witness the nautical parade and enjoy local delicacies like bara brith, a tea bread flavoured with tea, dried fruits and spices, and laverbread, which consists of edible seaweed.
