An oasis in the desert

Providing much-needed relief from the blazing heat of Rajasthan, Mount Abu, the state’s only hill station, stands at a height of 1,722 metres above sea level, and is embraced by lush green hills of the Aravalli Range. It is referred to as 'an oasis in the desert' as its heights are home to rivers, lakes, waterfalls and evergreen forests.
