Roe deer fawn
In Europe, the months of May and June herald the births of adorable little deer fawns, preferably in thickets, away from prying eyes. Fawns are highly vulnerable and rely entirely on their mother for survival and protection. They often sport a spotted coat that helps them blend into their surroundings to evade predators. Over time, this coat fades, replaced by a new coat like that of adults.
