Snow is amazing for more reasons than one, and igloos are definitely one big reason to love snow. These snow huts or snow houses are made to stay warm in very cold regions. One might think, why would someone make a hut of out cold snow to stay warm? That is because heat gets trapped between the air pockets of snow, thus making it a perfect insulator. Igloos can be of various types. The smaller ones are usually built for one or two nights of temporary stay while the bigger ones can house a family more permanently.
