Lacs des Chéserys, France

Nestled inside the Aiguilles Rouges Nature Reserve there is a string of small lakes facing Mont Blanc, a 46-kilometre-long Alpine mountain range bordering France, Italy and Switzerland. The Lacs des Chéserys are a group of five high-altitude lakes, located in the commune of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc (more commonly known as Chamonix) between 2,100 and 2,300 metres above sea level. They all offer breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc massif.
