Seville, Spain
The historical centre of Seville, the largest autonomous community and capital city of Andalusia, is packed full of remnants of the past, from grand churches to Moorish palaces. And it comes as no surprise that Seville's narrow, winding streets have so much culture to explore - in the 16th century Seville was the mercantile centre of the western world, and its river was the main maritime route for Atlantic traffic for more than 200 years.
