Lechfall, Bavaria

A man-made waterfall built for flood control may not sound like anything to get excited about, but the turquoise-green water of the Lech river and the surrounding alpine forests give Lechfall a dreamlike beauty. Located in Füssen, Bavaria on the German-Austrian border, this 12-metre-high waterfall is a must-see for any nature lover.
